COVID-19 Policies
Great news! Booking for now through the end of August re-opens Monday, May 25th. Fall sessions will open for booking in early August, assuming there have been no new directives from the government by then.
Weekend dates are limited but there are still a few available. All sessions booked prior to COVID-19 will be going ahead as scheduled.
Consider booking your fall session in late summer this year as we don’t know what September or October will bring.
As you can imagine, things will look a little different. Here’s what you can expect for the foreseeable future.
- There will be no in-home sessions. All sessions will take place outdoors. Locations will be chosen based on our ability to comfortably social distance from others enjoying the outdoors, while still giving you amazing backdrops for your family portraits. If you have a popular location in mind for your portrait session, please consider a morning session. I know the start times are (crazy) early in June, July and August but the light is beautiful and worth getting out of your house for while it’s still dark.
- Sessions will be postponed if you, anyone in your family, me or anyone in my family are sick.
- Clients are asked to wash their hands prior to arriving at their session. I will do the same, and use hand sanitizer throughout your session. I will have a mask with me if you would prefer I wear a mask while I photograph.
- I will not be touching families during their session. This means I will be relying on parents to fix clothing or smooth hair. You’ll also see me doing a lot of charades to get you in just the right position. Trust me, it will work. I’ve been doing this a long time.
